digital product to create passive income

the client

The Slow Yoga Studio was in need of a passive way to make income without doing something that’s already been done before.  How could they create a new product that would stand out in the marketplace?  Something that their students ACTUALLY wanted and needed.

the plan

Create a passive product that their students actually needed as a way to easily increase sales, client retention + client loyalty

  1. This was important because the studio owner wanted to increase sales without having to hire a team or another teacher - how could she be in two places at once?

  2. Before working together, the teacher was exhausted + burnt out - she kept seeing all the potential of “passive-income” yet didn’t know how to crack it in a way that hasn’t been done before

the gap

The Slow didn’t want to just create enough yoga video product - they wanted something that was specific to their client’s needs and location - something that they couldn’t get from anywhere else

the process

the gain

Every time it rains, The Slow announces their Yoga-When-It-Rains-Video Series. Students can now attend the class without having to drive in the rain

  1. The difference is that the music and poses are intended for cozier days

  2. Students LOVE this option because they can get a unique offering

  3. The studio owner was able to make passive income without having to hire another teacher

  4. The studio owner can make double the amount of income now from: students in class, students that buy the video

  5. It’s not an evergreen product, so the urgency factor creates a demand
